This cause is before us on appeal from a final judgment granting a permanent injunction, and from the order denying a motion for rehearing of that judgment. The issue concerns the application of rule 1.440, Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, and questions whether the trial court erred in holding a final hearing on appellees complaint for injunctive relief when there were motions pending at the time of the final hearing. Appellant raises a corollary issue as to whether it was reversible error for the trial court to fail to enter an order for trial as required by the rule. We agree with appellants contention and reverse.
